  • You are correct. The IDF has the right to shadow the Iranian ships as close as nominal maritime safety allows. That means that they can dog their ass within spitting distance as much as they want, as long as they want and whenever they want. We do it all the time.

  • I hear you, but the other Middle Eastern countries have proved to be untrustworthy at best. Up until the eighties, most of them visibly sided with the Soviet Union against our interests. The fact is that Israel has been a positive counterweight to anti-U.S. forces since the fifties.
